Firefleye Inc. will serve historically marginalized and underserved populations, focusing on youth and young adults aged 16-24 in urban areas of Kansas City. The demographic characteristics include BIPOC communities with varying skill levels. The program targets individuals facing barriers such as low income, limited access to education, and mental health challenges.
(1) Participant Outputs and Outcomes:

Serve 100 participants annually.

100% of participants will receive basic services such as workforce development training, job placement assistance, case management, mentoring, and counseling.

50% of participants will receive some services, including specialized training and support programs.

20% of participants will receive all services offered, including comprehensive support and intensive training programs.
(2) Partnership Expansion Outputs:

Develop partnerships with local organizations such as Kansas City Public Schools, Kansas City Police Department, University of Missouri-Kansas City, Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City, Community Churches and others.

Enhance collaboration with existing partners to expand services and support networks.
(3) Project Design
Project Design/Logic Model:
The project will utilize a logic model focusing on inputs (funding, staff, partnerships), activities (training, workshops, counseling), outputs (number of participants served, services provided), and outcomes (employment rates, educational attainment, mental health improvements)
OST Partnership Design:
Structured partnerships will involve roles such as consulting services, insurance consulting, community support, housing training, and various support services for participants. Key partners include Kansas City Public Schools, Kansas City Police Department, University of Missouri-Kansas City, Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City, and others.
(4) Increasing Workforce Opportunities for Youth:
Recruitment and engagement strategies include outreach through community events, social media campaigns, partnerships with local schools and community organizations, and targeted programs for underserved youth.
